.
There exists a madness—which needs to be confronted and faced in the eyes.
I have felt this my entire life, a sense of abod—a burning sensation when
it is near.
A magic—but not what you would expect and not always the stream of light which is thought
to penetrate.
The light, it strengthens our resolve—yet does not hold the human race in arms.
It is searched for.
This is not the bad news.
My senses are attuned, an involuntary commitment to a source of energy which will do no favour—
it is designed to dissolve existence and re-create
a new birth.
I give, not my pulse, but my heart directly.
Each time, it is drained of light.
I have always felt this.
I am merely the in-between, the response driven
by a larger entity.
This is not the bad news.
I didn’t make anything happen.
I am an expression, a maddened reprise
A filtered sound.
I cannot hate.
The dream is very real—
…and while my counterparts have tried to save
I have risen
projected and I created noise.
I am not the enemy
I am not your friend.
I am. I am. I am.
There is nothing.
Says the human standing with arms crossed.
There is something…
Says the spirit
…but not what you would expect.
I have seen the dreams of other dimensions.
I have lived more times than memory permits
and felt other existence of different worlds
—and it dates to the birth
of a sun.
